CES is ideally situated in beautiful Southern California, allowing CES students to participate in sports, cultural activities and regional field trips. The San Diego region offers access to major professional and collegiate sports events, movie theaters, plays, concerts, and museums. Additionally, students can visit world famous locations such as the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Sea World, Disneyland, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, the Hearst Castle at San Simeon and Mexico.

Instructors will meet with students individually to discuss their academic progress. Supportive services, including personalized advising is available for both instructional and personal needs. Additionally, CES staff assist students in making the adjustment to a new culture.

Pick-up service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or San Diego International Airport is available upon request and will be provided to students arriving to begin their studies at CES.

CES is committed to assisting students’ secure conveniently located housing. CES has a local housing coordinator, and staff members who are familiar with the surrounding area. Prospective host families are interviewed and thoroughly evaluated by our coordinator. CES maintains close contact with its students and host families in an effort to ensure that students enjoy a broad range of cultural experiences.
